One Source, Four Screens — No Signal Loss
The Riverpark AVS050HD is a powered 1×4 audio/video distribution amplifier built for permanent 12 volt installations. Feed it a single video source — a DVD player, a backup camera, a satellite receiver, a media player, a signage box — and it drives four independent, fully buffered outputs. Because every output is actively amplified rather than passively split, all four screens get a clean, full-strength picture instead of the washed-out, ghosting mess a cheap passive splitter leaves behind.
The input bank accepts R, G, B and composite V video plus stereo L/R audio, and each of the four output banks mirrors it exactly. Power is 12 VDC on screw terminals, which is why this unit shows up in RVs, travel trailers, toy haulers, buses, conversion vans, boats and 12 volt digital signage cabinets — no inverter, no wall wart, no hunting for an outlet. The steel enclosure has mounting tabs on all four corners, so it bolts to a cabinet wall or an equipment shelf and stays put over the road.
Important: this is component/composite video over RCA. It is not an HDMI splitter.
Key Features

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this split an HDMI signal?
No. The AVS050HD is an analog RCA unit — component and composite video with stereo audio. If your source and displays are HDMI, you need an HDMI splitter instead. Plenty of RV and trailer builds still run RCA, which is exactly what this was made for.
Do I lose picture quality across four TVs?
No. Each output is actively buffered and amplified, so all four displays see a full-strength signal. That is the whole point of a distribution amplifier versus a passive Y-splitter, which divides one signal four ways and leaves every screen dim and soft.
What power supply do I need?
Any clean 12 VDC source. In an RV or trailer you typically land it straight on the house 12 volt system through a fused circuit. On a bench or in a building, a standard 12 VDC regulated supply of 1 amp or more works fine. Polarity is marked on the terminals — observe it.
Can I use fewer than four outputs?
Yes. Unused outputs can simply be left unconnected; they do not affect the outputs you are using.
Can I chain two of these for more than four screens?
Yes. Feed one output of the first unit into the input of a second unit to fan out further. Each stage is re-amplified, so you are not stacking losses the way you would with passive splitters.
Does it come with cables or a power supply?
The amplifier ships as a bare unit. RCA patch cables and the 12 volt feed are supplied by the installer, which keeps the price down and lets you run exactly the cable lengths your build needs.
