Genuine Smith Richards motorized TV lift assembly, part number 635013, built August 2023 and never installed. Smith Richards builds these in the USA for RV manufacturers, which is why you will not find them on a big-box shelf.
The important part: this runs on 12V DC. The inexpensive TV lifts sold online are 110V AC units built for houses. In an RV, a van, a boat, or a bus that means you cannot raise your TV without firing up an inverter or plugging into shore power. This one wires straight to your 12 volt system and works on battery like the rest of the coach.
Drive is rack-and-pinion, not a cable or a folding scissor arm. A gearmotor turns a pinion against a fixed rack, so the TV travels straight and holds position with no drift and nothing to stretch or fray. The mast and guide rails are extruded aluminum, so the assembly stays light enough to hang in a cabinet without reinforcing the whole wall.
The TV mounts to an adjustable cross-bracket with slotted arms, so it fits a range of VESA patterns rather than one fixed size. A top valance rail is included to finish the cabinet opening where the TV comes through.
Ships as pictured: shrink-wrapped with the cross-bracket and valance rail alongside and the hardware bagged. Assembly is straightforward bolt-up. You supply your own rocker switch and 12V feed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work on 110V household power?
No, and that is the point. This is a 12V DC unit built for RVs, boats, and conversions. Wire it to your house battery system. If you need it in a stick-built home you would need a 12V power supply.
What size TV will it handle?
The cross-bracket has slotted arms that adjust across a range of VESA patterns, which covers most flat panels in the 32 to 55 inch range. Measure your TV’s VESA hole spacing and the weight before ordering, and reach out if you want us to check fit.
Does it come with a switch?
No. The lift is supplied as the mechanism, brackets, and valance rail. You supply the rocker switch and the 12V feed, which lets you match whatever control your build already uses.
How much travel does it have?
The mast and rails set the stroke. Contact us with your cabinet opening height and we will confirm the extended and retracted dimensions before you buy.
Is it hard to install?
It is a bolt-up job. Mount the frame plumb in the cabinet, run 12V to the motor, wire your switch, and hang the TV on the bracket. Most of the work is in the cabinetry, not the lift.
Why is it labeled Smith Richards and not an RV brand?
Smith Richards builds these in the USA and supplies them to RV manufacturers, who install them under their own name. This is the same part the factory used, bought as surplus.
